Since we’re new friends here, I’d like to introduce myself and explain the purpose of this blog.

First thing’s first.. My name is Lana Jo, and I am the writer at The Happy Home Blog as well as Faith Based Encouragement on Facebook!

I have loved to write, creatively, since I was very young. So I started this blog a few years ago, but the topics just didn’t feel like they were “it” for me or where God wanted me to be. I felt like I was missing something. So I decided to take it in another direction because..

Lately, I feel like the Lord has impressed upon my heart to write His word instead of mine.

𝘐 𝘢𝘮, 𝘣𝘺 𝘯𝘰 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴, 𝘢 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯/𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘯; I am a wife to the handsome man in the picture above and a mommy to that beautiful little girl. And to be honest, I’m in survival mode most days during the 40-hour work week.

Although I have felt some doubts start to creep in already, I kept feeling a tug, so I ultimately decided to create Faith Based Encouragement on Facebook, shift my Instagram – @lanajohoward – to align, and revamp this blog to fit His will, so I can write what I feel that He is calling me to.

My prayer for this blog is that it will spread the Word of God through inspirational posts and content that will uplift Him and His purpose for my life while encouraging you to live your purpose through Him as well!

I do hope that you will share this blog and the posts with your friends and networks as well, to spread God’s love far and wide, as He leads us on this journey together.
