In a time in my life, when I had all but given up hope for finding someone with similar core values, our separate paths merged into one we would forever walk together.

We had met before, due to a potential match-making situation. Haha. But it would be several years after that before the Lord would cross.. ๐๐ฐ, ๐ค๐ฐ๐ญ๐ญ๐ช๐ฅ๐ฆ.. our paths for good.

My husband and I have recently had this conversation and talked about how, if we had tried dating at that time, we most likely wouldn’t have stayed together because we were both very immature and selfish.ย

We were in our early twenties though.. So, is anyone actually shocked here?

We both had some hard life lessons to learn. And I believe, during that time, one of the main things ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ฐ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐ ๐ฐ๐๐ฌ ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ฌ๐จ ๐ฐ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ก ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ซ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ ๐ฐ๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐ ๐ช๐ด.

This man makes me laugh hard (and roll my eyes equally as hard at him sometimes).. But he has given my heart a soft place to land and a place to call home.

I am beyond thankful that God saw fit to bring us together, when He did, because it was at just the right time in both of our lives!
